Doula

A doula assists at both home births and hospital births. She is there to support you and your partner as good as possible. She is the one face you know and will not leave your side during labour. A doula supports you in taking your own decisions and will encourage you to ask for what you think you really need. She'll teach you what to expect from yourself, your partner, your midwife and normal Dutch medical protocol during pregnancy and the birth of your baby.
